2007 Stoker Award Nominees Announced
The 2007 Stoker Award nominees can be viewed at the Horror Writers Association. The Cryptopedia: A Dictionary of the Weird, Stange & Downright Bizarre by Jonathan Maberry and David F. Kramer is up in the Superior Achievement in Nonfiction category. That's at least one book on this list I've read and enjoyed. For slow readers like myself, the list is always a great way to catch up on some of the best writing the field has to offer.
Maberry won the 2006 Superior Achievement in a First Novel category for Ghost Road Blues (Pinnacle)
After you peruse the nominees, you can read my interview with Maberry to see what makes him tick (and so darn prolific); and catch up on my review of Ghost Road Blues, the first book in his trilogy of terror for the no longer sleepy town of Pine Deep.
The awards are hosted at the World Horror Convention.
